Sachem East Volleyball Wins County Title
Team heading to the Long Island Championship Saturday.
Sachem East's varsity volleyball team are Suffolk County champions after defeating Lindenhurst, 3-1, Thursday night in the Class A Championship game at Westhampton High School.
The Arrows will next move onto the Long Island Championship Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hoftstra University.
According to Sachem Report, Lindenhurst won the first set 16-25, but then East won the next three with 25-20, 25-22 and 25-18. Ryan Cole had 13 blocks and four kills, and Sean Harrington and 14 kills and 11 digs.
