Saturday is S.T.O.P Day in Islip Town
Town recycling event is a good reason to clean out the garage.
Sachem area residents residing in Islip Town and looking to get rid of e-waste, propane tanks, chemicals and other pollutants should make time Saturday to stop at the Town of Islip Recycling Facility at 1155 Lincoln Avenue in Holbrook between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
That's the date for the annual Spring S.T.O.P. Program. S.T.O.P stands for Stop Throwing Out Pollutants.

Residents must complete a required form and bring it with them when they stop in at the facility.
