The New YMCA of Patchogue Ribbon Cutting

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Patchogue YMCA at 255 West Main St. in Patchogue will be held on Friday, August 27th at 11:00 a.m. and light refreshments will be served.

This is a very exciting opportunity for the YMCA and Long Island as well as the hundreds of thousands of residents in our communities.  The YMCA is the largest provider of childcare throughout the United States.  In Patchogue, the Y has been unable to offer any substantial childcare due to our lack of space.  Our new facility will afford the opportunity to provide childcare, babysitting, after-school programs as well as provide a host of well rounded services to meet the needs of the community.  Our double gymnasium, multi-purpose room, fitness center and swimming pool will be the centerpiece of expanded services that we will provide to strengthen our community.
