SYAG Lacrosse Weekend Roundup

1st Grade vs Connetquot:

On Saturday, the SYAG first grade team tied Connetquot team 4 to 4. The SYAG played great today. Zack Marko scored 2 goals and was stellar once again. James Coromilas scored again and Luke Tiedemann scored his first goal of the season! Great job Luke!

Zack Marsh played his first game in cage and was absolutely incredible! Zack made some incredible saves and proved to be a seasoned veteran.

The defense was led by AJ Carlo and Logan Williamson who had great games.

2nd Grade vs Islip:

The 2nd grade team played an excellent game this past weekend, when they lost to Islip by a score of 7-4.  Tyler Guiliano played a great all-around game, contributing on both offense and defense.  Nolan Snyder and Jack Meadows both made outstanding defensive plays to help keep the team in striking distance.
 
On offense, Nick Meoni and Aaron Young made great passes to try and set up teammates for offensive chances.  Sammy Leonard took advantage of his speed to score his first goal of the season.  Nick Marotta, Kyle Price, and Jeremiah Slaven all added goals as well.  

Overall the team played very well, and hope to keep it up as they come upon their final game of the season this coming weekend.
