Join us for an
engaging discussion with Long Island author Henry Clark, whose debut novel, What
We Found in the Sofa and How It Saved the World, tells a story of three
friends who discover a discarded sofa on the side of the road near their bus
stop. Squeezing their hands down between the cushions, they find four seemingly
commonplace objects that turn out to be anything but common. Before they know
it, they are thrust into an adventure that repeatedly puts their lives in
danger and could affect the fate of the world.
Henry Clark has also contributed
articles to MAD magazine and published fiction in Isaac Asimov's
Science Fiction Magazine, in addition to acting as the head phrenologist--if
that is not being redundant--at Old Bethpage Village Restoration. 25 copies of the book will be raffled off
for those who pre-register. The author will be selling and signing books after
his talk.
