For those that have yet to use Patch’s Boards, it’s a simple way to promote your organization’s event, share good news about your child or yourself, or perhaps even look to sell that item gathering dust in the basement. (Leave off the part about the dust.)

Here’s a look at some of the items posted this past week:

• Reader "Beth" wishes everyone a happy Fourth of July along with her kids Julianna, Angelina and Victoria. We invited all Sachem residents to send in their Fourth of July pics and we'll post them in a gallery.
• Donna Cantllo reminds everyone that the Little Feet Puppet Theater will be putting on a performance of "Little Red Riding Hood." Call (631) 736-5121 for more information. 
• Reader Jordan Walters is asking any solo artists or musicians who have original sheet music to contact him because he'd like to use an original track for a film he plans to enter into the All American High School Film Festival in October. The opportunity might give an aspiring recording artist a chance at some early exposure. The film will be screened in Times Square. Read the board post and reach out to Jordan for more information.
• "GD" informs us that Village Green Miniature Golf on Portion Road in Ronkonkoma is open and under new management. If you haven't checked out the new place, you can choose between two golf courses and the are available to book parties. The company has a Facebook and Twitter account for updates and information.
