Shocking Video: Road Rage In Holbrook (Some Language)

Do not attempt to adjust your monitor; this shocking video shows an SUV heading eastbound on the westbound lanes of Veteran's Highway in Holbrook driven by a man engaged in a road dispute with the person shooting the video.

Warning: there is some salty language in the :44 second clip.

It all started yesterday at around 11:45 a.m. according to police, when the amateur videographer, Donato Sangemino, called the cops to report the driver, described as a white male in his 20's, driving his Hyundai Santa Fe in the wrong direction down the busy highway. In the video you can hear oncoming traffic honking at the apparently enraged driver.

In a Facebook post, Sangemino described the reckless incident as the result of a confrontation he had with the driver at a light further up the road on the eastbound lanes.

Sangemino, of Shirley, said he had attempted to get in front of the SUV driver when the highway narrowed down from two lanes to one. He said the driver raced his engine and tried to prevent him from getting in front, but was unsuccessful.

"Well 2 mins later he whips around and starts weaving in n out of the cones," Sangemino writes. "He comes to the light and made a left and is calling me a [expletive], blah blah blah, and i flipped him the bird," he wrote on Facebook.

The video captures what happened next.

Toward the end of the video the wrong way driver eventually pulls over to the shoulder of the road, get out and appears to throw something at Sangemino's car, though Sangemino is quite a distance away.

Police said they are investigating the incident.
