Sachem Patch is highlighting the top 10 ranking academic students at both Sachem North and Sachem East.
Today we introduce:
No. 10: Jamie Freitag; Sachem East
College Choice: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (R.P.I)
Freitag is an all-around student with several irons in the fire. According to the guidance office at Sachem East, Freitag was an active member of the Varsity swim team and is a Scholar Athlete.
In addition, Freitag joined the school's Gay-Straight Alliance, took part in Sachem’s Writing Center and was part of the SADD club.
She also has some musical talent; seated first chair violin and was concert master with the school orchestra last year.
