Sachem Parent Wins Education Award
Dorothy Stallone one of 10 to receive annual recognition.
Sachem resident and parent Dorothy Stallone was recently bestowed with a "Friends of Education" award for contribution to the field of education. According to the original announcement in the Sachem Report, Stallone was one of 10 honorees and the only non-educator this year to win the award.
“It was a great honor to be recognized,” Stallone stated in the article. “I had a great group of people from this great community behind me to help me do so much for what we believe in, I can’t thank them enough.”
Stallone received the award from Phi Delta Kappa International President Dr. Sherry Alessandro and other members of Stony Brook University Chapter 1603 of Long Island.
