Sachem East Alum Starts Apparel Company

After playing college baseball at Stony Brook, Anthony Luciano knows what athletes need and want.

Former Stony Brook baseball players Anthony Luciano and Steve Marino started a sports apparel company last year, targeting hard working and dedicated athletes like themselves.

Luciano, who graduated from Sachem East in 2007, and Marino started developing clothing designs and launched No Off Season Apparel, an online clothing and apparel shop.

“It is still a very young company, but the feedback has been great and we have a lot of stuff in the works,” Luciano said.

“We are constantly working on new ideas and ways to involve athletes,” Luciano said.

Luciano is fortunate to know Sachem East alum Keith Kinkaid (shown in the photo above), a goalie in the New Jersey Devils organization, who endorses his product.

“No Off Season apparel is one of a kind,” Kinkaid said. “They are extremely comfortable and just like the motto says, look good, feel good, play good.”

Tommy Koehler, who played ball with Luciano and Marino at Stony Brook, also had good things to stay about the product line.

“It is very rare to find a shirt that I feel comfortable enough to work out in during the day or wear out at night,” said Koehler. “What they have done at No Off Season apparel is created just that. So whether I am trying to squat the house in my Gym Flow shirt or out to dinner in my Nos shirt, I am always in style.”
