Sachem Area Students Earn SUNY Binghamton Awards

Binghamton University honors the top of its class.

The following students received a Binghamton University Foundation Award for excellence in their respective fields. Congratulations for their achievement.

William M. Marsiglia of Holtsville, received an Award for Excellence in Biochemistry, an award presented to two outstanding graduating senior biochemistry majors based on their academic excellence and research capabilities. He also received a Ruth Friedland Seiwatz Memorial Award, an award presented to graduating senior for his or her outstanding accomplishments in music.

Courtney M Lum of Holtsville, has received a Herman Roberson Memorial Award, an award presented to an outstanding graduating senior majoring in environmental studies.

Eddie J. Bejarano of Farmingville, received a Helen Anne B. Rivlin History Award, an award presented each spring to the most promising student(s) in Middle Eastern history, Jewish history, and/or Chinese history.
