Ronkonkoma Clam Bake Defies The Rain

Third annual beach event still draws crowd in spite of rainfall, dark skies.

Some wet weather and gray clouds didn't keep the faithful away from last Friday's 3rd Annual Clam Bake, hosted by the Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce.

The clam bake featured live entertainment, including a fire juggler, games, and of course: clams on the barbecue. The event was sponsored by Bridgehampton National Bank and held at the Michael Murphy Park at Lake Ronkonkoma on Lake Shore Road.
