Reminder: Sachem North Halftime Ceremony

Today the 1993 Sachem Boys Lacrosse team will be honored for the 20th Anniversary of its New York State Championship season.

At today's Boys Lacrosse game between Riverhead and Sachem North at Fred Fusaro Stadium, the school will be recognizing the 20th Anniversary of Sachem's last New York State Lacrosse Championship Team.

The 1993 Sachem Lacrosse team will be honored at halftime for their dominating season, which included a major victory over rival Ward Melville for the county championship, and a 9-7 win over Fayetteville-Manlius for the state title.

The game against Riverhead begins at 1 p.m. Lacrosse boosters and clubs from all over Sachem are expected to turn out for the special occasion.
