About: Erected in 1991, the Suffolk County Vietnam Veterans Memorial sits on Bald Hill and is one of the highest points on Long Island. A sharply sloping pyramid painted in the flag's red, white and blue, the monument acknowledges Vietnam Veterans and their sacrifices. Located on North Ocean Avenue, visitors to the park will find open parking, and unobstructed views of Suffolk County.

Check back with Sachem Patch next week for suggestion No. 92. Have a suggestion for this column? Send it to Chris R. Vaccaro at Chris@Patch.com.
