Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Medford that took place Wednesday morning. Officers responded to 82 Rose Lane in the Gordon Heights neighborhood following a 5:41 a.m. 911 call of shots fired at the location. Police discovered the body of 32-year-old Ronald Fitzgerald, of Medford, lying on the front porch of the home.

A car crash on Montauk Highway in Blue Point closed both lanes for four hours early Tuesday and the driver was arrested for DWI, according to Suffolk Police.
