New Deputy Commissioner Appointed at LIMA

Terry Hennessey brings more than 30 years of experience to Deputy Aviation Commissioner post.

Long Island MacArthur Airport (LIMA) Commissioner Teresa Rizzuto has appointed Terry Hennessey of East Quogue to serve as Deputy Aviation Commissioner as part of the administration’s strategic plan to broaden the management team at LIMA.

Hennessey brings over 30 years experience in the field with skills ranging from improving passenger services to crisis management.  He leaves his current job as the British Airways manager at Baltimore Washington Marshall International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport to take on these new responsibilities.

“We welcome Mr. Hennessey to a team that is dedicated to solidifying LIMA as a nationally recognized transportation hub,” said Supervisor Tom Croci, in a statement. “He shares our vision of making LIMA an engine for economic recovery in our area.”

“Terry is a seasoned professional who has demonstrated his ability to create positive and sustained results in a very demanding environment," said Rizzuto, in a statement. "I am delighted to welcome him to the team as we pursue our collective mission of strengthening the role of Long Island MacArthur Airport."
