Merrimac Student Pens YA Fantasy Novel

An 11-year-old Merrimac student has written and self-published a young adult fantasy novel and it's actually his second novel to his credit.

Christopher Chiasera recently published "Monsters," described in The Sachem Report as "epic adventure where the main character Robby is enthralled in a battle of good versus evil.

Prior to "Monsters" Chiasera published "Hawks," another self-published title available on Amazon. Chiasera said he was coached through the self-publishing process by his parents, and even presented a tutorial on how to self-publish for G.A.T.E. night.

Chiasera hopes one day to become a house-published author with more books to his name.
