March 1: Tillman Movie, Divorce Group, English

Check this list everyday for a glimpse at what's happening around the Sachem community ... from school events to sports games and Town of Brookhaven and Islip functions, there is a sampling of everything.

1. Pat Tillman Film: Intriguing, informative, sometimes controversial but always thought provoking, this monthly series combines the best in film and discussion. This month's selection paints a passionate, angry, and insightful portrait of Pat Tillman's inspiring life and untimely death. Watch it at 6 p.m. at the Sachem Public Library.

2. Catch a movie: Head down to Island 16 or Regal in Ronkonkoma and grab a flick during the day.

3. Divorce Separation Group: If you are in a time of transition due to Divorce, separation or the break-up of a significant relationship, come join us for this informal group that will be a six-week session to discuss relevant issues including the following:

• Letting go of the past, being single again
• Working with our strengths and weaknesses
• Single parenting and helping our children cope
• Prioritizing our time and learning our limitations
• Where to turn to for help

4. : Today marks the first day of the new English classes being offered at the Sachem Public Library for free. Classes run from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
