The annual budget vote and trustee election for the Sachem Public Library is scheduled for Tuesday, April 3.
Polling is open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Trustee Election
Dennis Flavin, a Sachem resident for more than 30 years and a Library Trustee for 11 years, is running unopposed for a 5-year term of office. Flavin has served as President, as well as one the Budget Committee. His also Vice President of the Suffolk Cooperative Library System Board of Trustees.
Reflecting on his service to the Library community, Flavin has found it to be "an honor and a privilege to work with the staff of this great institution. Their professionalism and dedication are a credit to the Library and the community. It would be an honor to serve as your Trustee for another five years."
Voter Information
You may vote if you are:
* At least 18 years of age
* A citizen of the U.S.
* A resident of Sachem School District for at least 30 days
* And are registered to vote
