Leg. Kennedy Tours 4th Precinct With Boys Scouts
Troop 888 get a first-hand look at the police work, the Legislative Chamber.
Suffolk County Legislator John M. Kennedy, Jr. hosted Boy Scout Troop 888 last Wednesday at the North County Complex in Hauppauge.
The group visited the Suffolk County Police Department’s Fourth Precinct, and toured the Legislative Chamber. Leg. Kennedy gave a lesson on local government to the young men of Troop 888.
“This was one of the best groups that I have had the honor of hosting," Leg. Kennedy stated in a release. "They asked well thought out questions that were well past their ages. I would also like to thank Lt. Fox from the SCPD for giving the troop a tour of the Fourth Precinct."
