Last Day To Register For Vote On Sachem Budget
Special voter registration sign-up scheduled for tonight.
Today is the final day for any district residents who wish to vote on the recently adopted 2013-14 Sachem school budget, according to the district's website.
The registration deadline expires on June 11 for the June 18 budget vote. To that end, the district is holding a special registration session tonight, June 11 in the Board of Education Annex attached to Samoset Middle School at 51 School Street, Lake Ronkonkoma. The session will run from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Here are some other details:
- In order to register, residents must be a U.S. Citizen
- Residents must be 18 or older on the date of the election
- Residents must have lived in the Sachem district for at least 30 days prior to election
- Registration to vote can take place at any school building during normal school hours or at the District Office.
