Alexis Weik, Receiver of Taxes, reminds all Islip Taxpayers that this year the last day for payment of current taxes is Friday, May 31.
For the convenience of local residents, the receiver of taxes office will be open until 7 p.m. The Tax Office, located at 40 Nassau Ave., Islip, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The office will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day.
