Holbrook Resident Honored as 2012 Woman of Distinction

Sue Koerber is founding member of Parkland Civic Association.

Suffolk County Legis. Presiding Officer William J. Lindsay recently honored Holbrook resident Sue Koerber as the Eighth Legislative District’s 2012 Woman of Distinction.

Koerber is a founding member of the Parkland Civic Association, and she has served as a Director since 2005. Sue is also an active member of the Holbrook Beautification Committee that was started in August, 2010.

Koerber is a special education teaching assistant, and she is committed to educating our young people about fire safety and the use of equipment. Sue was previously a member of the Fire Medic Company for the Holbrook Fire Department, and she is currently an active member of the Sayville Community Ambulance Company, where she rides a twelve-hour overnight shift every Thursday.
