Here's what's happening Monday in the Sachem community.
Check this list everyday for a glimpse at what's happening around the Sachem community ... from school events to sports games and Town of Brookhaven and Islip functions, there is a sampling of everything.
1. Both the Sachem East and North girls hoops teams will be in action Monday. North travels to North Babylon, while East hosts the winner of the Huntington/Comsewogue game.
2. President's Day: Don't forget to think about all your great American presidents and honor their memories on Monday.

3. Closed: Town of Brookhaven, Town of Islip, Sachem Schools and just about every other important facility will be closed Monday for observance of President's day.
