Crime Report: Boss From Hell, Ongoing Dispute

A look at recent crime in Farmingville.

The following incidents and arrests were culled from the Suffolk County Police Department's media page.

Farmingville

  • Police answered a call for harassment on Lenore Lane on May 14 at around 5:30 p.m. According to the call description the complainant was assaulted by their boss. The complainant refused medical treatment.
  • Police responded to an aggravated harassment call on North Morris Avenue on May 14 at around 8 p.m. According to the description the harassment was part of an ongoing problem between the complainant and a known female subject.
  • Police answered a harassment call on Horseblock Road on May 13 at around 3:45 p.m. According to the complaint a known female subject struck the complainant and then fled. The complainant refused medical treatment.
  • An incident of criminal mischief occurred on Cedar Oaks Avenue on May 13 at around 1 a.m. According to the description the mischief was done to a vehicle at the location.
  • Police answered a similar criminal mischief to cars complaint on North Ocean Avenue on May 13 at around 1 a.m. 
  • Martin Galak, of Farmingville, was arrested in Patchogue on May 8 for criminal possession of stolen property valued at more than $3,000 and criminal possession of a weapon. 
  • Michael DiMaria, of Farmingville, was arrested in Holbrook on May 11 for DWI and obstruction of government administration.
