Crime Report: Bad Relationships, X Marks The Spot

A look at recent crime in Ronkonkoma.

The following incidents were culled from the Suffolk County Police Department's media page.

Ronkonkoma

  • Police responded to a harassment call on Barleau Street on May 22 at around 2 a.m. According to the complaint description the female complainant had just jumped out of her violent boyfriend's vehicle.
  • An apartment complex resident on Ronkonkoma Avenue called police on May 22 at around 2:45 p.m. after discovering a large X scrawled on the complainant's front door.
  • Police responded to a criminal mischief call on Easton Street on May 22 at around 5 p.m. According to the call the criminal mischief was done to a house at the location.
  • A 15-year-old girl on Peconic Street called police at around 8:15 on May 22 after she claims she was jumped by two known subjects. 
  • Police responded to a grand larceny call on Railroad Avenue on May 19 at around 6 p.m. According to the complaint a wallet was stolen from a vehicle at the location.
  • Police responded to a harassment call on West Drive on May 18 at around 9 p.m. According to the call description a female complainant called police on her fiance, claiming he was out of control.
  • Corbett Robinson, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested in Mt. Sinai on May 21 for DWI, with a previous conviction within the last 10 years.
  • Brian Evans, of Lake Ronkonkoma, was arrested on May 21 for 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and 3rd-degree criminal possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
