Crime Report: Damaged Vehicles, Damaged Property

A look at recent crime in Holbrook.

The following incidents and arrests were culled from the Suffolk County Police Department's media page.

Holbrook

  • An incident of harassment took place on Berdie Avenue on May 19 at around 1 p.m., according to police.
  • An incident of criminal mischief to a car took place on Sheets Avenue on May 17 at around 4:30 p.m.
  • Police responded to a harassment call on Broadway Avenue on May 18 at around 1 p.m. According to the complaint description the harassment involved a dispute between the complainant and a known female subject.
  • Police answered a call for criminal mischief on Spruce Drive on May 14 at around 4:30 p.m. According to the call description damage was done to property located in the apartments at Spruce Pond. 
  • Elizabeth McCormack, of Holbrook, was arrested in Farmingville on May 18 for operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and 1st-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 
  • Paul Bernstein, of Holbrook, was arrested in East Farmingdale on May 16 for operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .08, with a prior arrest.
