Crime Report: Scratched Mustang, Robbery Arrest

Holtsville

• Police responded to a criminal mischief call on July 13. According to police a complainant on Storm Drive called 911 at around 4:30 p.m. to report that the rear bumper of his 2008 Ford Mustang had been scratched by an unknown person. 
• Police answered a call for criminal mischief on July 13 at around 11 p.m. According to police a brown plastic mailbox on Spiral Road was damaged by an unknown person or persons.
• Police answered a call for robbery at the Holtsville Ecology Center on July 12 at around 10:30 a.m. The call led eventually to the arrest of Abdias Alvarez-Jolon, 22, of North Patchogue. Patch reported on this incident when it first happened. 
• There were no other arrests for serious offenses in Holtsville this week.
