Crime Report: Leandra's Law Violation

The following incidents and arrests were culled from the Suffolk County Police Department's media page.

Holtsville

  • Police answered a domestic harassment call on Woodycrest Drive on April 20 at around 6 p.m. According to the complaint description that complainant was assaulted by the complainant's husband, who had left the premises.
  • Patrick Fass, of Holtsville was arrested in Yaphank on April 15 for aggravated DWAI with a child in the vehicle (Leandra's Law). According to police, Fass, 28, was driving a 2007 Dodge inside Southaven County Park with a three-year-old child in the car when he was pulled over. Police say he tested for a combined drugs and alcohol mix in his system. He was also charged with acting in a manner that would endanger a child younger than 17. 
  •  Aaron Wade, of Holtsville was arrested in Patchogue on April 18 for multiple counts of criminal mischief with intent to damage property.
