Crime Report: Fist Fights, Road Rage

A look at recent crime in Farmingville.

The following incidents and arrests were culled from the Suffolk County Police Department's automated reporting system.

Farmingville

  • Police responded to a criminal mischief call on the Long Island Expressway on June 1 at around 12:40 p.m. According to police a motorist heading eastbound at Exit 63 said another motorist had thrown a water bottle at his vehicle, scratching the finish on the left side front and rear doors.   
  • Police answered a call for assault on Clearview Avenue on May 29 at around 8 p.m. According to police an argument broke out between a male victim and several male suspects in the driveway of a home on Clearview Avenue. The assailants pushed the victim down to the ground and began to punch and kick the victim. The suspects then fled westbound on Highview Avenue. The victim went to Stony Brook University Medical Center with injuries. No arrests have been made.
  • Police responded to a fight at Lynwood Elementary School on May 27 at around 3:30 p.m. According to police the fight was between two male subjects. The victim's head was hit into the pavement during the fight. Police say the victim went to Stony Brook University Medical center with minor bruising and scrapes. No charges were pressed. 
  • Kerri Ronan, of Farmingville, was arrested in Holtsville for DWI and resisting arrest. This is her first DWI offense.
