Councilwoman Kepert Visits Holtsville Ecology Center
Takes part in bicycle rodeo, summer safety program.
On June 2 Brookhaven Town Councilwoman Connie Kepert was on hand at the town's Bicycle Rodeo at the Holtsville Ecology Center. The event is held to instruct children in pedestrian, and bicycle safety at Safety Town’s miniature village just before the start of summer vacation.
“I enjoy attending Brookhaven's Bicycle Rodeo every year," Kepert stated in a release. "It is a great fun way for kids to learn how to stay safe while riding their bikes. The Bicycle Rodeo provides an opportunity for children to become better bicyclists and avoid accidents."
