The Sachem North PTA along with the Sachem North Touchdown Club have organized a budget information hearing with Superintendent James Nolan and Associate Superintendent Bruce Singer at Samoset Middle School.
The meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday, April 23 at 7 p.m. in the Samoset auditorium.
All are invited to sit down with the district officials and ask questions about the now-adopted 2013-14 spending plan, which reflects a 7.49% tax levy increase. The public will vote on the budget on May 21.
Budget information sessions are intended to inform the public about the budget process and clarify any misinformation that might be circulating.
