Saturday, January 7: Cool Beans Cooking Class – 1:00 p.m.: One of the healthiest staple foods and a synch to prepare - join Tim as he takes the mystery out of the bean.

Tuesday, January 10: The Tuesday Tour: Pantry Makeover – 5:00 p.m.: The most effective cleanse begins at the home – with a pantry makeover. Tour the store with Tim, to explore how you can find the best methods for keeping your pantry stocked with flavorful and healthy options.

Wednesday, January 11: Community Support Day – 8:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.: Shop with a conscience! When you shop on January 11, 5 percent of their net sales will be donated to Clubhouse of Suffolk, a local non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people who are affected by mental illness to lead healthy, productive and socially satisfying lives through a variety of supportive programs. Clubhouse of Suffolk recently launched a community garden so that fresh produce is easily accessible for their food kitchen and pantry so that their members have healthy eating options daily.

Thursday, January 12: Kids Corner: Healthy Creations – 5:00 p.m.: Who said “Never play with your food”? Join us for this hands on class as your little ones prepare their very own healthy snacks, including Monkey Kisses, Mini-Pizzas and Healthy Smoothies. Don’t miss out, as your kids become mini-chefs! 

Saturday, January 14: Be KIND to Yourself! – 11:00 a.m.: This informative and delicious class will highlight recipes from Alicia Silverstone’s Kind Diet book, a science-backed vegan-eating program, that’s simple, effective and a delicious way of life.

Sunday, January 22: Engine 2: Extra Healthy for You! – Noon: The Engine 2 diet is a delicious, easy-to-do eating program perfect for anyone, from athlete to student to firefighter! Proven results, because it’s a lifestyle changer. 

Tuesday, January 24: The Tuesday Tour: Vegetarian “Alternatives” – 1:00 p.m.: Transitioning to a more vegetable-focused diet has never been easier! Join Tim as he highlights vegetarian “alternatives” throughout the store.

Thursday, January 26: Weight Imbalances: Binges & Cravings – 6:30 p.m.: Are you one of those people who gains weight by looking at food? Do you find yourself filling up on snacks or skipping meals? Why do we get unstoppable cravings for chocolate, cookies, ice cream…and use food as medication or entertainment instead of nutrition? Saturday, January 28: Lake Grove Ultimate Chili Cook Off – 1:00-3:00 p.m.: Are you a fan of chili? Become the judge and help us determine the first Chili Cook Off Winner at Lake Grove. Each department will be featuring their very own special chili recipe. Vote on your favorite and enjoy the warm goodness of the ultimate winter dish.
