Uncle Louie, a Yankee, a Giant and an Army of Celebs

Entertainment juggernauts team up for unprecedented charity effort.

This is an occasional series about a Sachem alum utilizing social media in his everyday business strategies for celebrities around the country ...

Louis Gregory, better known as in the entertainment world, has teamed up with New York Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain and New York Giants great Michael Strahan for what he calls, "a charitable event of epic proportions."

"I don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet," said the Sachem alum, "but this is going to be one of the biggest things I've accomplished to date."

He's teamed up with football players, baseball players, pop stars, rappers, actors and other figures for a charity that is strictly through social media.

Gregory has spoken with Dan Marino's son Mike and Deion Sander's daughter Deiondra about running point on the fundraiser, and also has renowned artist Romero Britto on board.

"Why hasn't Donald Trump put me on Apprentice yet?" Gregory quipped. "Trump, if you're reading this, 'come on.' Not only are we going to raise six figures for charity, I'm going to show the social media community how to do it will some (gusto)."

That last line is not a demeaning comment, as much as it's a clue about what the actual charity supports. Follow Sachem Patch in the coming weeks to learn more as details are released. Uncle Louie plans on raising over $100,000 by using social media and Sachem Patch will be there every step of the way.

Others helping Uncle Louie out: Shontelle Layne, wrestling star and DIY TV's Garage Mahaj host Bill Goldberg, music mogul Eric B, Soprano's star and big screen veteran Joey Pantoliano, rap legend Special Ed, The Original Thug N.O.R.E., Nascar driver Kevin Harvick, top mom blogger Jessica Gottlieb, The Fat Boys' Prince Markie Dee, MMA star Frank Trigg and Playboy supermodel and DJ Roxanne Dawn.

"We're a diverse crowd but our goal is a unified one," he said, "to help those in need. This is just the beginning. We're going to have more than 100 celebrities on board before we're done."

Gregory said sponsors like Ed Dikes, the CEO of WestonJewelers.com, will make this a win-win situation.
