Trampoline Park Opening Soon In Ronkonkoma

Air Trampoline Sports misses projected August opening, but should be announcing opening date soon.

While it has missed its projected August opening period, Ronkonkoma's upcoming trampoline park, Air Trampoline Sports, is close to having its grand opening date announced.

The Facebook Page for the 1850 Lakeland Avenue facility announced Saturday that their next update will provide the opening date for the location's 16,000 square foot of trampoline space, 10,000 square feet for freestyle and dodgeball courts, foam pit, basketball slam dunk and children’s area.

"We know everyone is waiting for our Grand Opening. We appreciate your patience. We are close but we still have a few minor details that need to be in place. We do promise the wait will be worth it. Our next update will provide our opening date," writes the status update.

The park, announced earlier in the summer, is expected to also offer dodgeball pick-up and league tournaments, as well as aerobics classes at the facility.

When the park does have its grand opening, owner Ken Stone has said that the event planned for it will have proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island.
