Sachem Library Closing Early, Reschedules Blood Drive
Patrons advised to call library before driving over in case weather conditions deteriorate.
Sachem Public Library is closing early Thursday due to oncoming winter storm Hercules, which is projected to drop nearly a foot of snow over the region.
The library, located at 150 Holbrook Rd. in Holbrook, announced on its website that the building will close at 5 p.m. Thursday. However it also advises that the building may close even earlier should weather conditions deteriorate.
Patrons can call the library at 631-588-5024 to check before driving out there.
Additionally, a blood drive originally scheduled at the library Friday has been rescheduled to Jan. 17 from 2 p.m.-8 p.m.
