Retail Sales Consultant: AT&T needs both full- and part-time sales consultants for its Lake Grove location in Smith Haven Plaza. The positions involve handling all administrative aspects of sales, including completing customer contracts and warranties, pulling products from inventory, and filling orders. Applicants will preferably have at least one year of retail, customer facing, or sales experience. Sales consultants have the opportunity to earn $1,200 or more per month in commission, receive competitive pay, and have access to a range of benefits offered by AT&T.

NBTY: Nutritional supplement provider NBTY filled job boards this week with a wide range of positions available in two nearby locations. In Holbrook, NBTY is looking for an affiliate marketing coordinator, a category manager, and a web analyst. For its Ronkonkoma location, the company needs a senior brand manager, director of nutrition research, global brand manager, global product marketing manager, a category development manager, and a manager for talent acquisition. Responsibilities and qualifications vary depending on the position.

Sales Associates: Do you have a passion for music? Music & Arts Center, a division of Guitar Center, is looking for both full- and part-time sales associates at its various locations, including one in Lake Grove. The positions require outstanding sales or customer service experience, some knowledge of musical instruments and written music, and the ability to pass a criminal and credit background check.

Manufacturing Controller: A Ronkonkoma-based manufacturer of glass and lighting equipment needs a manufacturing controller with at least seven years of experience in accounting within some manufacturing environment, among other qualifications. The controller will be a key member of the company’s leadership team, as he or she will direct, perform, and coordinate all accounting activities. 

Sales Representative: If you're looking for a sales position, consider the one advertised this week by Sleepy's in Lake Grove. Responsibilities include performing a comfort analysis on every customer, informing customers on the benefits of each product, maintaining the professional appearance and cleanliness of the showroom, and daily cash management and deposits. Applicants should have at least two years of sales experience and be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Technician: Tekmark Global Solutions is hiring a technician for its Holtsville location. The position requires the technician to assist test & validation engineers in the validation of new and existing client solutions' products/platforms, collect data and publish test reports, and perform benchmark tests. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wireless networks, working knowledge of networking and networking principles, and familiarity with operation of mobile devices among other experience.

ABAP Consultant: There is an opportunity this week for an ABAP consultant at Net Matrix Solutions with at least six years of SAP ABAP experience. Specific requirements include core ABAP experience with sales and distribution, CRM, FI, CO modules and interfaces and at least three full end-to-end SAP ABAP implementation's project experience. Fine Jewelry Selling Specialist: JCPenney in the Smith Haven Mall needs a full-time fine jewelry selling specialist. No experience is necessary for this position, but applicants should be comfortable working with money and numbers and willing to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. A criminal background check is required.

File Clerk: If you have at least one year of administrative or customer service experience, check out TAD PGS' posting for a file clerk to work with a Holtsville client. The file clerk is reponsible for examining and coding incoming material, storing forms, letters, and reports and filming and scanning documents. Salary is set at $30,825.60, and candidates must qualify for a USCIS security clearance.
