Ronkonkoma Chamber To Host HUB Developers

Local leaders, members of developing company TRITEC will be at Chamber's general meeting to make presentation.

Tomorrow evening the Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce will hold a general meeting that features an updated presentation from the developers of the Ronkonkoma HUB project.

The meeting will take place at Window on the Lake in Lake Ronkonkoma on January 24 at 5:30 p.m. and the Chamber is inviting interested parties to attend.

Presenters will include Robert Loscalzo and Bob and Jim Coughlan of TRITEC, the developing company charged with transforming the acreage around the Ronkonkoma LIRR station into a mixed-use, transit-oriented development. Patchogue Mayor Paul Pontieri, and Brookhaven Town officials Yves Michel, Tullio Bertoli and Bill Faulk.

"At this point, we are projecting well over 100 people in attendance at this meeting," stated Kevin Hyms, Ronkonkoma Chamber's secretary in an email. "Board members from the Holbrook Chamber of Commerce will be attending as well along with many of the property owners and residents from Ronkonkoma, Holbrook and surrounding areas."

The presentation takes place at 6:45 p.m. A $25 cover fee includes a buffet dinner, beer, wine and soda. The Chamber is strongly suggesting reservations, by emailing info@ronkonkomachamber.com.

Additionally, the Chamber will be swearing in its officers for 2013 at the meeting.
