Florida company acquires Holtsville's UFC Aerospace Corp.: According to a report in the South Florida Business Journal, B/E Aerospace made a $400 million deal to acquire Holtsville based UFC Aerospace Corp., which distributes more than 150,000 SKUs to 1,000 customers in its supply chain management and inventory logistics responsibilities.

TFCU building sells for $4.6 Million: The Teachers Federal Credit Union building on North Ocean Avenue in Farmingville sold last week for $4.6 million. According to one report, the buyer will sell units as full-floor or half-floor office space in the 47,000-square foot building.

Ronkonkoma's Sigma Corpo. releases new lens: At this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Ronkonkoma based Sigma Corporation announced the new Sigma APO Macro 180mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM lens, the world's first 180mm macro lens that offers a magnification ratio of 1:1 and a large maximum aperture of F2.8, according to a release from Business Wire.

Bridge BanCorp, Inc. expected to open Ronkonkoma branch in 2012: According to a report on Market Watch, the holding company for The Bridgehampton National Bank announced a quarterly dividend of 23 cents per share, payable on Jan. 31, 2012. The report also said the bank's 21st branch will open in Ronkonkoma, near MacArthur Airport, sometime in the first half of 2012.

Ronkonkoma's CVD Equipment announces order totals for 2011: According to Business Wire, Ronkonkoma based CVD Equipment announced receiving $36 million in new orders for 2011, surpassing the $25 million from a year earlier.
