Northstar Taps Atlanta-based Marketing Firm For 2013 Goals

Holbrook alternative healthcare company hires firm to help launch products to a larger market.

Northstar Global Business Services has retained Atlanta-based Sharper Edge Sales & Marketing Group for a 2013 marketing push that it hopes will reach a broader audience for its brands.

Northstar, the manufacturers of healthcare products Snorenz, and Goodnight’s Sleep among others, has asked Sharper Edge to conduct a complete brand overhaul, from packaging and labels, to marketing and manufacturing. Northstar is seeking to push into brand recognition at chain stores such as Wal-Mart and Home Depot in the new year and says it does not want to lose time and momentum handling the campaign in-house.

“We have been extremely lucky so far," Northstar CEO Nick Chieco stated in a release. "And we have gotten by on pure determination with little real world retail-product experience, so I knew we needed to bring on industry experts now to assure that we do not lose any opportunity because of a learning curve.”

Northstar said it chose Sharper Edge because of its years of experience handling products from inception to shelving.

"I am proud enough to admit what I know, and we all want this bad enough to admit what we do not know, and we do not know this process like Sharper Edge does," Chieco added.

The plan is for Sharper Edge to begin immediately with the company's flagship products Snorenz and Goodnight's Sleep, focusing on revising the products' label design, packaging and manufacture costs. Once that is finalized, the firm will begin its outreach campaign to roll the products into name-recognized chain stores. Sharper Edge will then turn its attention to the rest of Northstar's products, some of which have not yet been announced publicly.

Northstar Global Business Services Inc. is a publicly traded company that trades under the symbol: OTCPink: MDIN. Prior to 2009, they were doing business as MedGen Inc.
