Live-brary Launches in Suffolk County

Library cardholders can benefit from new online resources.

Līve-brary.com, the new digital branch of the public libraries of Suffolk County, officially launches on September 21 when library communities host Go Live with Your Library

Līve-brary.com is an Internet site dedicated to the free online resources available to Suffolk County library cardholders.

"We've seen a surge in the circulation of our downloadable entertainment," said Huntington Public Library Director Debra Engelhardt.  "And as the cost of eReaders has come down and the selection of eBooks has gone up, summer vacationers made great use of this free resource and more are discovering the benefits and ease of access every day."
