Lake Rock Diner Closed
Signs on eatery say closed for renovation, community members say otherwise.
Multiple community members have said that the Lake Rock Diner, an establishment that has been part of the Sachem community for 26 years, has closed.
Owners were unavailable to comment.
Signs on the windows of the facility located on Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma said the diner is closed for renovation, but there has been no movement in the parking lot or actual building for nearly a month.

One area resident said a new Walgreens facility will go there, but that information has not been confirmed yet.
