Holbrook's TAG Beverage Celebrates Grand Opening

Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer William J. Lindsay recently helped celebrate the grand re-opening of TAG Beverage, a local food and beverage distributor on Main Street in Holbrook.

Pictured with Lindsay, D-Holbrook, is owner Thomas Gandley, his wife Michelle, and former professional baseball player, Dwight ‘Doc’ Gooden.

The Gandley family also owns , also located on Main Street, which has been open and friendly to local residents for 25 years.

"Wow what a great turnout for TAG Beverage's grand opening," the business posted on its Facebook page of the March 31 event. "Thanks to Dwight "Doc" Gooden for going above and beyond everyones expectations. Thanks to everyone that fought the cold weather to make our grand opening a huge success."

Lindsay said both TAG businesses have improved the local business community, and they continue to make Holbrook a great place to live, work and shop.

“The re-opening of TAG Beverage will spur economic development for our local downtown area, which has always been a top priority while I have been in office over the past 11 years,” he said. “I extend my best wishes to Tom and the entire Gandley family for many more successful years in Holbrook.”
