Holbrook Karate School Hopes To Open Soon After Accident

Following a Ford Explorer crashing through the office and waiting area of Holbrook's Shinjitsu Self Defense last Wednesday evening, the karate school announced on their Facebook page that they are working on re-opening soon.

According to a status posted Monday night, the karate school is meeting with an architect Tuesday and will post future updates as soon as they know something.

"We are looking to open as soon as we can, but the building has to be secure and deemed safe to occupy," the status says before thanking everyone for their patience.

As previously reported, the Ford Explorer crashed through the office and waiting area of the karate school located in the Holbrook Commons shopping center around 6:50 p.m. last Wednesday, according to police. No one was injured from the crash.
