Help Wanted: Job Postings in Sachem, June 26

Auto Mechanic: The Ronk Service Center is looking for an experienced auto mechanic to fill a full time, Monday through Friday, position at its Ronkonkoma location. Valid driver's license and a NYS Inspector's license needed.

Shop Help: Ronkonkoma-based manufacturer of acoustical wall panels and tack boards is looking for shop help. This is a full time, entry-level position. Applicant must be able to use a tape measure and should be good with their hands. Must be reliable. Starting pay is $10 per hour. Pay increase based on performance. Dump Truck Drivers: Located in Holtsville, S Affatato Asphalt Paving Incorporated is looking for CDL licensed drivers for  dump truck operation. The license is all that is asked for, but position will be filled based on experience.

Human Resources Director: Lombardi's in Holbrook is look for an experienced, self-motivated human resources director that can work with all levels of staff. Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in the hospitality field needed.

Lifeguard: This position is at a private outdoor facility in Holtsville. As a lifeguard you will work shifts from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Valid lifeguard and CPR certifications needed. Pay is $10 per hour.

General Office Worker: Not a glamorous title, but still an important roll is the general office worker at Kelly Government Solutions in Holtsville. Primary responsiblities include entering information into various automated systems, as well as conducting data inquiries and searches. High School diploma and at least one year of previous work experience needed for this full time, Monday through Friday, position. Pay starts at $14.82 per hour.

Line Cooks: The Chilli's restaurant in Holtsville is in need of line cooks and dishwashers. Experiences required for the cook position, but not for dishwashers. Both require working in a fast paced environment. Salary and benefits available.

 Bank Teller: Entry into the financial field can be made working as a teller for Capital One in Ronkonkoma. Tasks include depositing, transferring, and withdrawing client transactions. Great customer service skills are key. High School diploma or equivalent wanted, as well as six months cash handling experience.

Physical Therapist: An orthopedic outpatient clinic in Lake Ronkonkoma has an opening for a staff physical therapist. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, a New York State license, and at least one year of previous experience. Work includes developing treatment for individual patients based on their individual needs. Pay beginning at $80,000, plus benefits.

Sitter for September: Farmingville family looking to get a jump on the school calendar but finding a sitter now to begin working in September. Position requires watching a five-year-old on weekdays from the time school lets out until 6 p.m. Pay between $10 and $15 per hour.

Laundromat attendant: Centereach laundromat in need of attendant for Sundays. Shift is from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. Folding and prepping laundry required. No experience necessary.

Whole Foods Market: The folks at Whole Foods Market would like the Sachem community to know that on every Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. the company’s Lake Grove location will be hosting a job hiring screening.
