Help Wanted: Job Postings in Sachem, July 24

Job postings across the internet in the Sachem area slimmed this week. Both job boards and Craiglist offered less than they normally do, but there were still some postings. Here. Have a look:

Payroll Manager: NBTY, a distributor and manufacturer of nutritional supplements based out of Ronkonkoma, is looking for a payroll manager. At least five years of experience in payroll management is preferred, as well as knowledge of Lawson software, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Attractive benefits package and 401(k) offered.

Receptionist: Veterinarian office in Centereach is looking for a receptionist. Some late-day shifts required (2 p.m. until 8 p.m.), as well as covering other shifts when needed. Experience and ability to multitask are musts.

Account Specialist: One Source Document Management, a Ronkonkoma-based confidential copying company, is looking for an account specialist. This entry-level position calls for a flexible person with strong communication skills to work on site and at client sites taking care of processing requests. Experience with Microsoft Office applications needed.

Recreation Aide: Rehabilitation facility in Patchogue is looking to fill a recreation aide position. Responsibilities include organization and overseeing group activities for residents. High School diploma needed, in addition to at least seven years technical work and a minimal of five years supervisory work in an industry-related position.

Groomer: Experienced groomer and bather needed for grooming and boarding business in Holbrook. Full time work available. Passion for pets needed, as well as ability to work over night from time to time.

Account Representative: This is an entry-level position at Aflac in Ronkonkoma. As an account representative you will be responsible for promoting Aflac services in a business-to-business environment. Enthusiastic and career-minded applicants with strong customer services skills wanted.

General Manager: The Crowne Plaza is seeking a general manager for the front desk of its Holtsville location.
