Goldberg, Gregory Team Up with Shark Fights

Wrestling legend will handle color commentary, while Sachem alum dishes out social media needs.

Louis Gregory and Bill Goldberg have teamed up again in the social media and entertainment world. While Goldberg is serving as the color commentator for the new Shark Fights 15 on FUEL TV, Gregory, a Sachem alum, is handling the company’s social media needs.

Shark Fight Promotions launched the new show on Friday and it will appear again Friday, June 24 at 10 p.m. EST.

Goldberg has been somewhat of a renaissance man in the entertainment world, taking his talents from the football field to the wrestling ring, garage and movie screen.

“Having Bill Goldberg on our broadcast team is a dream come true,” said Shark Fights Executive Wes Nolen in a statement. “He is a true legend in the sport, and brings with him not only massive popularity but a real genius when it comes to calling the action on television. There is no doubt he will elevate the value of our broadcasts.”

Bud Brutsman, the CEO of BCII and executive producer of Shark Fights, agrees.

“We’ve always wanted to work together on a fight event, and now we have our chance,” he said in a statement. “Bill is the consummate professional, and I know his work on the Shark Fights broadcast team will be not only entertaining, but also insightful. FUEL TV viewers are in for a real treat.”

Shark Fight Promotions, the third largest MMA promoter in the country according to the company, has produced 14 live events, and have another nine events scheduled for 2011.

“I'm excited to work with Shark Fights and address their social media needs,” said Gregory. “I'm equally excited to see and hear Goldberg color commentating the fights.”
