Frank Mirando, the Holtsville stockbroker competing in Fox's "Master Chef" cooking show, will get a seat in the stock exchange he's probably not used to. Instead of trading, he'll be ringing the closing bell at Nasdaq today in a ceremony in Times Square. The Nasdaq closing takes place between 3:45 and 4:00 p.m.
Mirando will be joined by "Hell's Kitchen" contestant Dana Cohen. Both "Master Chef" and "Hell's Kitchen" are Fox Broadcasting Channel's holdings.
Mirando has slots remaining on the show. Last week he wowed southern soul food chef Paula Deen, and earned immunity from the elimination challenge. Patch has been recapping each episode as we follow Mirando through the journey.
