After several delays, the Miller Place Walgreens opened to customers on Saturday. The 14,80 foot store offers a drive-thru pharmacy and online shopping with in-store pick-up where customers shop via the web and pick up their ready to go order in the store.

Fairway Market to Open in Lake Grove Next Spring

A Fairway Market is coming to Suffolk County. The grocery chain announced this week that its first store in the county will open in Lake Grove next spring in the DSW Plaza at 4000 Middle Country Road.

Floral staple James Cress Florists is going back to their roots and moving their shop just a few parking lots over to their former location. The florist will move from the Port Jefferson Station home they share with Carpet Connection on Nesconset Highway to 36 Nesconset Hwy., which is just west of their old location.

Patchogue West Marine Staying Put

The West Marine located on West Sunrise Highway in Patchogue will not be closing, despite recent news that its West Babylon location will shutter on November 11.

New Bank, Drive-Thru Window Proposed for CVS Store in West Islip
Kabro Associates, which owns the Sequams Shopping Center, says it is taking a "proactive" step in asking for a special permit for a bank drive-through for the CVS store location at Eaton Lane and Montauk Highway as it has a potential financial institution interested in leasing part of the CVS building if the CVS leaves the site.
