It's been a long time coming. The Country Corner, a local bar that has been around for more than 100 years and which has been in Ben Saraydarian's family for 23 years, closed on Sunday for interior renovations. The bar reopened Wednesday and Saraydarian couldn't be happier with the work he and contractor Steve Molison have accomplished. "I've always wanted to do this. It's always been in the plan."

American Cheese is Bigger, Better Than Ever in New Location

Sayville's popular cheese spot, American Cheese,  has re-opened on Railroad Avenue in Sayville, near the train station, and is bigger and offering an expanded menu as well as beer and wine for the cheese lovers in town.

The store had initially opened in a West Sayville location on Montauk Highway and made the move in late summer to the new spot.

Clock Tops New Village

A new clock installation are among this week’s progress made on New Village at Patchogue at the former Swezey’s department store location at the North Ocean Avenue and Main Street intersection.

Trampoline Park Opening Soon In Ronkonkoma

While it has missed its projected August opening period, Ronkonkoma's upcoming trampoline park, Air Trampoline Sports, is close to having its grand opening date announced.
